Premium Opal Polycarbonate for Superior Insulation
The multiwall polycarbonate sheet 16 mm is a high-quality Arla Plast product designed for thermal efficiency and light diffusion. Featuring a 2500 g/m² density, this opal-tinted sheet effectively reduces glare while maintaining a comfortable interior climate. It is engineered with one-sided UV protection to ensure long-term durability against harsh weather conditions.
Solving Glare and Heat Management Issues
Excessive sunlight often creates uncomfortable glare and heat buildup in greenhouses and terrace roofs. Standard clear sheets can lead to plant stress and overheating, making them unsuitable for many sunny environments.
Our 16 mm opal sheet solves this by diffusing light evenly across the surface. This provides a soft, pleasant atmosphere while the 1.9 W/m²*K U-value ensures excellent thermal insulation for your structure.

Important information
- 15-Year Warranty Includes a 15-year warranty against yellowing, ensuring high light transmission throughout this period.
- Cutting Tolerance The maximum allowable cutting deviation on the edges is 4 mm.
- Standard Width The standard sheet width is 2.1 m. If a sheet is cut down to 1.05 m, one edge will remain open due to the internal channel structure.
- Internal Structure The internal design (channels shape) of the sheets may vary based on stock levels, but the technical specs are identical. We never mix different structures in the same order to ensure a uniform look.
- UV Protection & Installation Polycarbonate sheets must be installed with the UV-protected side facing up (facing the outside) for the protection to work. The UV side is clearly marked on the protective film.
- Handle with Care Handle the sheets carefully to prevent scratches and damage.
- Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
