Premium Multiwall Polycarbonate Sheet Specifications

The Arla Multiclear BOX 2Wall is a high-performance multiwall polycarbonate 4 mm sheet. It features a robust 800 g/m² mass for enhanced impact resistance and durability. This clear sheet includes one-sided UV protection to ensure long-term light transmission and weather stability.

Durable Glazing for Reliable Greenhouse Performance

Many standard greenhouse panels suffer from premature degradation and low impact resistance due to lightweight construction. This often leads to frequent replacements and poor thermal performance during seasonal changes.

Our 800 g/m² multiwall polycarbonate 4 mm sheet solves this by providing a denser, more resilient structure. It offers superior weather protection and consistent light transmission, ensuring your greenhouse remains a stable environment for your plants.

Technical Specifications

  • Brand: Arla Plast
  • Type: Multiclear BOX 2Wall
  • Thickness: 4mm
  • Rib spacing: 6mm
  • Mass: 800 g/m²
  • U-value: 3.9 W/m²*K

Versatile Greenhouse and Structural Compatibility

This multiwall polycarbonate 4 mm sheet is ideal for residential greenhouse glazing and patio cover upgrades. It integrates seamlessly with standard aluminium profile systems designed for 4mm panel thicknesses. The material is suitable for both vertical and sloped applications requiring high light transmission and weather resistance.

Important information

  • 15-Year Warranty Includes a 15-year warranty against yellowing, ensuring high light transmission throughout this period.
  • Cutting Tolerance The maximum allowable cutting deviation on the edges is 4 mm.
  • Internal Structure The internal design (channels shape) of the sheets may vary based on stock levels, but the technical specs are identical. We never mix different structures in the same order to ensure a uniform look.
  • UV Protection & Installation Polycarbonate sheets must be installed with the UV-protected side facing up (facing the outside) for the protection to work. The UV side is clearly marked on the protective film.
  • Handle with Care Handle the sheets carefully to prevent scratches and damage.
  • Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Use cases and compatibility

Ideal for use
This 4mm sheet is perfect for small hobby greenhouses or vertical glazing where high light transmission and ease of handling are your primary project requirements.
Consider alternatives
If you require superior thermal insulation for year-round growing in colder climates, consider upgrading to a thicker 10mm or 16mm multiwall polycarbonate sheet instead.
Pay attention
Ensure your rafter spacing is compatible with 4mm thickness to prevent excessive deflection under snow loads, and always seal the channels to maintain long-term clarity.
